Dollar falls to lower 106 yen on lower U.S. yields

TOKYO, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell to the lower 106 yen zone Friday in Tokyo on lower U.S. Treasury yields.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 106.18-19 yen compared with 106.39-49 yen in New York and 106.57-58 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. It moved between 106.12 yen and 106.53 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2322-2323 dollars and 130.84-88 yen against 1.2295-2305 dollars and 130.86-96 yen in New York and 1.2309-2310 dollars and 131.18-22 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
