Chinese shares close higher at midday

BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning trading on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent to end at 3,164.22 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.77 percent to end at 10,839.16 points. Enditem
