Ukraine plans to participate in 2019 Beijing int'l horticultural expo

KIEV, March 29 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine is preparing to take part in the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition in China, the Ukrainian Agriculture Ministry said Thursday.

In a statement on its website, the ministry encouraged Ukrainian companies to join the expo, which is expected to bring together exhibitors from more than 100 countries and international organizations worldwide.

The exhibition is a chance for the participants to demonstrate their own ways of gardening, new technologies, and the culture of their countries, the statement said.

With the theme "Live Green, Live Better," the expo will be held from April 29 to Oct. 7, 2019 in a 960-hectare garden park located in Yanqing District, northwest Beijing. Enditem
