-- Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan on Wednesday spoke out about the misuse of public funds for a farewell event for outgoing Free State Premier and African National Congress (ANC) Secretary General Ace Magashule.

Addressing attendees at an event held to commemorate the anniversary of struggle stalwart Ahmed Kathrada's death, Gordhan expressed his disapproval.(News24)

-- With more travellers crossing South Africa's borders for the Easter long weekend, Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba said on Wednesday his department still faces security challenges at various points of entry due to corrupt border officials.
