Lebanon hails Estonia's participation in UNIFIL

BEIRUT, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese President Michel Aoun expressed Wednesday appreciation for the role played by the Estonian battalion of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in maintaining peace and stability in south Lebanon.

Lebanon is commited to strengthening relations between the two countries, Aoun said during meeting with Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

For his part, Ratas expressed his satisfaction about current stability in Lebanon, and the role assumed by the president in leading the country towards further progress and prosperity. Enditem
