Dollar stays in mid-105 yen on weak global stocks

TOKYO, March 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the mid-105 yen zone Wednesday in Tokyo on weak global stock markets.

At 5:00 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 105.46-48 yen compared with 105.29-39 yen in New York and 105.49-50 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 105.36 yen and 105.73 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2398-2399 dollars and 130.75-79 yen against 1.2398-2408 dollars and 130.66-76 yen in New York and 1.2465-2466 dollars and 131.50-54 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Enditem
