ANKARA, March 28 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and 33 others injured in a traffic accident on early Wednesday in Turkey's central Corum province.

The passenger bus on route from Trabzon to Istanbul lost control on highway and veered off the road, hitting trees and a wall, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Firefighter teams and ambulances were dispatched to the scene after accident. The wounded passengers have been taken to nearby hospital for treatment.

Turkey has seen several deadly bus accidents since this month. On March 13, a bus with 33 passengers on board crashed into a truck and caused fire in Corum province, leaving 13 people dead. Enditem
