Singapore hosts Cybertech Asia 2018 to connect global cyber stakeholders

SINGAPORE, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Cybertech Asia 2018, the Asian edition of the international conference and exhibition, kicked off in Singapore on Tuesday, vowing to bring together global players in the cyber ecosystem for discussion and knowledge exchange.

The two-day event, themed "Challenges and Opportunities in the New Cyber Era", focuses on how stakeholders in the cyber ecosystem can reap the full dividends of the future digital economy, according to a press release.

The conference participants would have discussions at Cybertech Asia 2018 about commercial problem-solving strategies and solutions that meet the complex challenges facing a wide range of sectors, including finance, defense, transportation, utilities, research and development, energy, manufacturing, service, health, government, and telecommunications, the release said.

Meanwhile, more than 80 participating companies would showcase their latest products and services against cyber threats facing today's organizations and countries.
