China Hushen 300 index futures open higher Tuesday

BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- China's Hushen 300 index futures opened higher on Tuesday, as the contract for settlement in April 2018 opened 1.51 percent higher at 3,903 points.

The May 2018 contract opened 1.17 percent higher at 3,878 points. The June 2018 contract opened 1.55 percent higher at 3,850.2 points. The September 2018 contract opened 1.26 percent higher at 3,811 points.

The stock-index contracts, agreements to buy or sell the blue-chip Hushen 300 Index at a preset value on an agreed date, are designed to allow investors to bet on and profit from either gains or declines in the market.
