Dollar changes hands in upper 104 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, March 26 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 104 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, marginally higher than its levels at the end of last week in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 104.82-86 yen compared with 104.69-79 yen in New York and 105.01-03 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2354-2354 dollars and 129.52-56 yen against 1.2346-2356 dollars and 129.40-50 yen in New York and 1.2321-2322 dollars and 129.39-43 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
