Iran condemns U.S. fresh sanctions on individuals and company

TEHRAN, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Saturday condemned recent U.S. sanctions on a number of Iranian individuals and company.

The U.S. "illegal and provocative" measures could not affect the country's scientific growth, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said.

The U.S. move proves the country's inherent hostility towards the Iranian nation.

The U.S. Treasury announced on Friday that it has imposed sanctions on one Iranian entity and 10 Iranian individuals for their alleged "malicious cyber-enabled activities." Enditem
