ANKARA, March 22 (Xinhua) -- A F-16 fighter jet crashed Thursday in Turkey's central province of Nevsehir, killing one Turkish soldier.

The jet was on a training flight when the crash occurred, the Turkish Armed Forces said in a statement.

Fire brigades, rescue units and gendarmerie forces were immediately dispatched to the crash scene. Enditem
