SKOPJE, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Macedonian police Thursday informed they had seized a quantity of 91 kilograms of marijuana in the southeastern town of Kicevo.

As a result of the raid, three persons were detained while transporting marijuana from the city of Struga to the country's capital Skopje, which was also the final destination of narcotics, police said in a press statement.

The three arrested are charged with unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics, psychotropic substances and precursors.

Referring to police sources, the narcotics came from neighboring Albania and were temporarily stored in Struga, a bordering city with Albania. Enditem
