BEIJING -- Chinese stocks closed lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.53 percent, at 3,263.48 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.94 percent lower at 10,877.25 points.

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia's stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the Cambodia Securities Exchange Index down 0.12 point, or 0.04 percent, to close at 341.75 points.

A total of 4,820 shares worth 24.6 million riel (6,152 U.S. dollars) were traded.

SYDNEY -- The Australian share market ended lower on Thursday, following the U.S. Federal Reserve's move to raise interest rates that kept investors on the sidelines.

At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 stock index was down 13.1 points or 0.22 percent at 5,937.2, while the broader All Ordinaries index shed 9.9 points or 0.16 percent at 6,043.2.
