ADDIS ABABA, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Wednesday.

--Ethiopia on Tuesday signed financing agreements amounting to 600 million U.S. dollars in the form of loan and grant with the World Bank.

The financing is expected to enhance the institutional performance of urban local governments to develop and sustain urban infrastructure, services, and local economic development. (Fana Brodacsting Corporate/FBC)

--The meeting of the Executive Council of EPRDF, held for the past eight days, concluded on Monday, the Office of the EPRDF Council said.

The meeting thoroughly discussed the reports of the four national member parties and identified gaps and areas of strengths as well. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

--Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) has selected Ethiopia for the implementation of its pilot project on sustainable bio-fuel program for the aviation sector in Sub-Saharan Africa.
