MOSCOW -- U.S. President Donald Trump congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his re-election and they discussed bilateral cooperation in a phone call on Tuesday, the Kremlin said.
Putin and Trump agreed on further contacts and "paid particular attention to the question of holding a possible summit," the Kremlin said in a press release. (Russia-US-Ties)

WASHINGTON -- A high school shooting in the U.S. state of Maryland Tuesday has resulted in the death of the shooter and two other injuries, local authorities said.
"There has been a shooting at Great Mills High School. The school is on lock down, the event is contained, the Sheriff's office is on the scene," St. Mary's County Public Schools said. (US-Shooting)

GENEVA -- The European Union and the United States have informed the World Trade Organization (WTO) that Washington has rejected Brussels' proposals to U.S. safeguard tariffs imposed on solar products, the two parties said in a joint filing published by the WTO on Tuesday.
