Dollar changes hands near 107 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, March 12 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands close to the 107 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York at the end of last week.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 106.89-90 yen compared with 106.76-86 yen in New York and 106.69-70 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2308-2308 dollars and 131.56-57 yen against 1.2300-2310 dollars and 131.39-49 yen in New York and 1.2318-2319 dollars and 131.42-46 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
