Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Thursday. Benchmark indices opened sharply higher, tracking positive Asian cues. All beaten down stocks saw buying interest.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 33,271.64, 238.55 points or 0.76 percent up compared to its previous close at 33,033.09. Enditem
