TEHRAN -- The black box of Iran's crashed plane will be sent to France for decoding data, official IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday.

"Due to the lack of required equipment for deciphering the black box's data in Iran, it will be sent to France," the senior Iranian lawmaker, Mohammad Reza Rezaee Kouchi, told IRNA on Tuesday. (Iran-France -Crashed Plane)

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian army on Tuesday fully captured the town of Muhamadiyeh in the capital Damascus' Eastern Ghouta countryside, the latest in a series of victories the Syrian army achieved in the war on the rebel groups in that sprawling area, according to state news agency SANA.

The Syrian forces are now mopping up the town to defuse explosive devices left by the rebels in that town, said SANA, adding that the Syria military units are hunting down rebels in the nearby farms to expand the safety ring around that area to make it a new launching pad for further operations in Eastern Ghouta. BAQUBA, Iraq -- Four Islamic State (IS) militants were killed Tuesday in two incidents in Iraq's eastern province of Diyala, a provincial police source said.

Acting on intelligence tips, a joint army and paramilitary Hashd Shaabi fighters surrounded two suicide bombers at an abandoned house at a village located some 70 km northeast of Baquba, said Maj. Ali al-Timimi from the police of the provincial capital Baquba. (Iraq-IS)

ADEN, Yemen -- Four members of the the Yemen-based al-Qaida branch were killed by a U.S. drone strike in the province of Hadramout on Tuesday, a local security official told Xinhua.

"A pilotless plane of the U.S. Air Forces conducted a strike on a moving vehicle in Albar desert of Hadramout province, killing four members of al-Qaida network and destroying their vehicle," the source said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-U.S.-Airstrike) Enditem
