Morocco, Czech Republic finalize military cooperation deal

RABAT, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Czech Republic have finalized a military cooperation deal aimed at consolidating military and defense technical collaboration, said Morocco's national defense administration Monday.

The deal was sealed during talks between Abdeltif Loudyi, Morocco's minister delegate to the head of government, who is in charge of the national defense administration, and Czech Vice Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa.

The two officials discussed means to ensure the smooth implementation of the new military cooperation agreement.

They also hailed the good relations between the two countries in many areas, exchanging views on ways and means of strengthening cooperation in the field of national defense.

The visiting Czech vice foreign minister lauded the considerable progress made by Morocco and its active commitment to international and regional peace and stability.

Tlapa, who is leading a large delegation to the kingdom, met also the Moroccan Foreign Secretary of State Mounia Boucetta. Enditem
