China's Gao Xinyu crowned at ITF Xiamen tennis tour

   XIAMEN, March 5 (Xinhua) -- China's Gao Xinyu beat Uzbekistan's Sabina Sharipova 6-1, 6-2 here on Sunday to win the women's singles title at the ITF Xiamen International Tour.

   With the victory, Gao will also earn 12 world ranking points.

   The nine-day tournament has attracted about 70 players from seven countries and regions vying for total prize money of 15,000 U.S. dollars.

   Earlier, Chinese Xu Shilin partnered with Germany's Sekulic Sarah-Rebccca to lift the women's doubles trophy, beating Sun Xuliu and Sun Ziyue of China, 6-1, 7-5, in the final.   Enditem
