HONG KONG, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed down 697.060 points, or 2.28 percent, to 29,886.391 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 29,852.42 and 30,679.469. Turnover totaled 118.40 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 15.12 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
