TEHRAN -- Iran's rescue operators have found the black box of the passenger plane which crashed last month with all 66 on board killed, Iranian media reported on Saturday.

Bahram Parsaee, a senior Iranian lawmaker, confirmed the discovery of the black box, Iranian Student News Agency (ISNA) reported. (Iran-Air Crash-Black Box)

CAIRO -- Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court ruled on Saturday that all previous judicial verdicts on the maritime demarcation deal between Egypt and Saudi Arabia are unbinding, official MENA news agency reported.

The court said previous rulings issued by the State Council or the Court for Urgent Matters regarding the demarcation of maritime borders between Egypt and Saudi Arabia will not be taken into account. (Egypt-Saudi-Demarcation)

RIYADH -- Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is to arrive in Egypt on Sunday in his first public foreign visit to Cairo since becoming a crown prince, Al Arabiya local news reported on Saturday.

The three-day visit comes days before his official visits to London and Washington, in which he and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will discuss issues of terrorism and the Qatar crisis. (Saudi-Egypt)

RAMALLAH -- Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah urged the Islamic movement Hamas on Saturday to allow the empowerment of the national unity government in the Gaza Strip as a necessity for attaining internal reconciliation.

Hamdallah said in a statement that President Mahmoud Abbas and the government were ready to shoulder all necessary responsibilities toward the Gaza Strip as the government has been enabled to take over powers there. (Palestine-Gaza-Hamas) Enditem
