Saudi Crown Prince to make his first visit to Egypt

RIYADH, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is to arrive in Egypt on Sunday in his first public foreign visit to Cairo since becoming a crown prince, Al Arabiya local news reported on Saturday.

The three-day visit comes days before his official visits to London and Washington, in which he and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will discuss issues of terrorism and the Qatar crisis.

The two countries, with Bahrain and UAE, severed ties with Qatar in June, 2017 over accusations of interference in their internal affairs.

Riyadh and Cairo share strong ties reinforced since Sisi took the office in 2014. Enditem
