Egypt condemns terrorist attack in Burkina Faso

CAIRO, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Egypt condemned on Saturday the terrorist attacks that targeted the French Embassy and army headquarters in Burkina Faso on Friday.

The Egyptian people and government stand by the side of Burkina Faso and France in the face of terrorism, Egypt's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry condoled with families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

On Friday, Islamic extremists opened fire on the French Embassy and army headquarters in separate attacks in Ouagadougou, killing at least seven soldiers. Enditem
