CHICAGO -- Two people were killed in shooting at a Central Michigan University residence hall in Mt. Pleasant Tuesday morning, Detroit Free Press reported.
Michigan State Police has confirmed the news, saying the gunman remains at large.
The university, in a tweet, said those killed were not students and "police believe the situation started from a domestic situation." (US-Central Michigan University)

ABUJA -- A faction of Nigeria's terror group Boko Haram has confirmed that the 110 missing school girls in the country's northeastern town of Dapchi are in its custody, a negotiator that used to bring together military officers and Boko Haram commanders for negotiations said Friday.
Aisha Alkali Wakil, a renowned human rights activist and lawyer based in the restive northeast region of Nigeria, said the Abu Musab Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram had contacted her on Thursday to confirm the custody of the schoolgirls. (Nigeria-Boko Haram)

GENEVA -- Police in the Swiss capital city of Bern said Friday evening that some suspicious items were found inside the Church of the Holy Spirit, which is located just outside the train station's main entrance.

GENEVA -- World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Roberto Azevedo on Friday expressed the organization's concern over U.S. plans for tariffs on steel and aluminum, in a brief statement.
