ADDIS ABABA, March 2 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Friday.
--The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said commendable achievements have been registered in promoting economic diplomacy.
The ministry has facilitated foreign direct investments, solicited market outlets for Ethiopian commodities and organized promotional activities, and engaged in supporting transfer of technology for different sectors over the last six months, a press release from the ministry stated. --Ethiopia has signed an agreement with DP World and the Somaliland to acquire 19 percent stake in the Port of Berbera.
DP World will hold a 51 percent stake in the project and Somaliland 30 percent, according to a media release issued following the signing of the agreement in Dubai on Thursday. (Fana Broadacsting Corporate/FBC)
--U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, will travel to Addis Ababa, Djibouti, Nairobi, N'Djamena, and Abuja.
