Cavs suspend J.R Smith one game for detrimental conduct

WASHINGTON, Mar.1 (Xinhua) -- Cleveland Cavaliers announced Tuesday that shooting guard J.R. Smith has been suspended one game for detrimental conduct.

Coach Tyronn Lue gave no further information about the punishment and specific reason.

"Something happened after shootaround, so, that's all the details I'm going to give to you. He'll be ready for tomorrow and be ready to go on Saturday (against Denver)," Lue said.

Smith, who started 56 games this season, averaged 8.3 points and shot 36 percent on 3-pointers. Enditem
