U.S. average crude prices grow in December 2017: report

HOUSTON, March 1 (Xinhua) -- The monthly average crude oil prices increased in December 2017, according to the latest data released Thursday by U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The Petroleum Marketing Monthly report showed that the average domestic crude oil first purchase price rose 1.79 U.S. dollars, or 3.2 percent, to 56.98 dollars per barrel.
The average free-on-board cost of imported crude oil increased 1.66 dollars, or 3.2 percent, to 53.60 dollars per barrel. The average landed cost of foreign crude oil rose 46 cents, or 0.8 percent, to 56.13 dollars per barrel.
The average refiner acquisition cost for domestic crude oil climbed 2.12 dollars, or 3.6 percent, to 60.97 dollars per barrel. The average cost of imported crude oil rose 1.20 dollars, or 2.1 percent, to 57.56 dollars per barrel. The composite refiner acquisition cost for crude oil increased 1.78 dollars, or 3.1 percent, to 59.53 dollars per barrel. Enditem
