Spanish shares drop 1.03 pct Thursday

MADRID, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares fell on Thursday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 1.03 percent, or 101.70 points, to 9,738.60 points.

A total of 25 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial lost 4.31 percent, followed by consultancy and technology company Indra A and infrastructure company Acciona that went down 3.61 percent and 3.53 percent respectively.

Airport operator AENA advanced 2.09 percent, being the top gainer of the blue chips. Real estate company Inmobiliaria Colonial rose 1.09 percent and airline group IAG was up 1.06 percent. Enditem
