NAIROBI, March 1 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Thursday.

-- Kenya is heating up and all projections indicate that things are to get worse, with one person reported to have died due to heat wave. Temperatures in Kenya this year between December 2017 and March have hit new highs renewing debate on global warming. The Meteorological Department said traditionally, temperatures range between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius in Nairobi but they are now averaging 30. (Daily Nation)
