SEOUL, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Two bodies were recovered early Thursday from a South Korean fishing boat that had been found capsized in waters off the country's southern coast, according to local media reports.

Rescue divers recovered the bodies of a South Korean sailor and a sailor of Indonesian nationality Thursday morning from the 7.93-ton fishing boat that had been found floating upside.

Five other South Korean crew members aboard the capsized vessel were still unaccounted for.

The fishing vessel left a port in Wando county Tuesday morning, and had been out of contact Wednesday afternoon. It was found capsized some three hours after the missing.

Search operations are underway, mobilizing six planes, 23 coast guard ships, five navy vessels, two fishery inspection boats and two private vessels near the scene and its surrounding waters. Enditem
