GENEVA -- The Syrian people are facing a huge humanitarian crisis, but militants and their sponsors are preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid and evacuation of civilians in Eastern Ghouta, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday.

ISLAMABAD -- At least four security personnel were killed and six others injured in a suicide attack in Pakistan's southwest city of Quetta on Wednesday evening, local media reported.
Local Urdu channel Samaa TV quoted security sources as saying that a suicide bomber attacked the personnel present at a camp of Frontier Corps, a paramilitary force, in Nauhisar area located at the outskirts of Quetta, the provincial capital of Southwest Balochistan province. ADEN, Yemen -- At least nine Yemeni civilians were killed and several others injured by Saudi-led air strikes in two provinces of the war-torn Yemen on Wednesday, medical officials told Xinhua.
