Kabul conference on peace and security opens

KABUL, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Kabul conference titled "Kabul Process for Peace and Security Cooperation" opened amid tight security here on Wednesday, with participation of delegates from more than 20 countries and international organizations and aimed at finding negotiated settlement to Afghanistan's lingering crisis.

This is the second of such conference held in Kabul over the past one year. The previous Kabul conference was held in June 2017.

Afghan Foreign Minister Salahudin Rabbani in his opening remarks said the peace in Afghanistan would benefit the whole region and the world at large. Enditem
