Dollar changes hands in lower 107 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 107 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.44-45 yen compared with 107.28-38 yen in New York and 107.01-02 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2226-2228 dollars and 131.36-38 yen against 1.2228-2238 dollars and 131.30-40 yen in New York and 1.2340-2342 dollars and 132.05-09 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
