Jordan king arrives in India for 3-day visit

NEW DELHI, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Jordan King Abdullah II arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday night for a three-day visit. He is accompanied by a business delegation.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the King at the Delhi airport.
"India attaches great importance to its ties with Jordan," tweeted Indian external affairs ministry spokesman Raveesh Kumar.
During the visit, the two sides will hold talks on issues ranging from bilateral relations, regional and international issues of mutual interest, said sources in Indian external affairs ministry.
During the visit, the two sides are expected to sign memorandums of understanding and agreements in diverse areas of bilateral cooperation. Enditem
