CAPE TOWN, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South African major news outlets on Tuesday:

-- In his second week on the job, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a cabinet reshuffle on Monday night, making wide-sweeping changes and firing some of former President Jacob Zuma's key lieutenants. Others were retained, most likely in the name of the African National Congress' unity. (Daily Maverick)

-- President Cyril Ramaphosa has fired 10 ministers from his cabinet, moved some to other portfolios and appointed David Mabuza as his deputy.
