TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has sent medical practitioners to Syria and Iraq to treat the injured in war against terrorism, Tasnim news agency reported on Monday.

The doctors have been sent at the request of the Iraqi and Syrian governments, IRGC Deputy Commander for Health and Medical Education General Ahmad Abdollahi told Tasnim.

IRGC has set up medical units and temporary hospitals in the two Arab countries to help treat those injured in the battle against terror groups, Abdollahi said.

So far, scores of Syrian and Iraqi fighters have received free medical services from the Iranian medical experts, he added. Enditem
