SEOUL -- A high-ranking delegation from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) arrived in South Korea Sunday to attend the closing ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics.
The DPRK delegation, led by Kim Yong Chol, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, crossed the inter-Korean border via land route and arrived in the transit office in the west region at about 9:53 a.m. local time (0053 GMT), local TV footage showed. COLOMBO -- Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Sunday reshuffled some of his cabinet ministers in a bid to strengthen the unity government, the President's Media Division said.

SHARAN, Afghanistan -- At least four people were killed and 13 others injured as a motorbike bomb rocked Yahya Khil district in Afghanistan's eastern Paktika province on Sunday, police spokesman in the province, Shah Mohammad Aryan said.
"A terrorist planted explosive device in the cavities of a motorbike and detonated it in the bazaar of Yahya Khil district today morning, killing at least four people including one police and three civilians and injuring 13 others," Aryan told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

SEOUL -- South Korean President Moon Jae-in met Sunday with the high-ranking delegation from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which came earlier in the day to attend the closing ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics.
Moon had a separate meeting with the DPRK delegation for about an hour in the eastern county of PyeongChang, where the closing ceremony is set to begin at 8 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), according to local media reports citing the presidential Blue House.
