PARIS, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Two terror attempts have been foiled in France since the beginning of January, French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said on Europe 1 radio on Sunday.

The attempts were foiled in the south and the west of the country respectively, Collomb said, adding that one was aimed at a large sports location and the other at personnel of the army.

The minister did not elaborate on the places of arrests and the precise locations of the targets.

He warned that France is not clear of terrorism, and that terrorist risks will last several years. Enditem
