CAPE TOWN, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South African major news outlets on Sunday:

-- Former president Jacob Zuma could have his day in court as all charges against him could be reinstated.

Prosecutors analyzing Zuma's representations to avoid his day in court have recommended the reinstatement of the charges. (City Press)

-- The African National Congress (ANC) has declined to mention whether its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Sunday will discuss a possible cabinet reshuffle.

The NEC is a holding a two-day special meeting in Pretoria in what is to be the first meeting since former president Jacob Zuma resigned. (Eyewitness News)

-- Political parties have welcomed President Cyril Ramaphosa's decision to withdraw the Presidency' appeal on the Pretoria High Court's ruling which ordered Shaun Abrahams to vacate National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) offices.
