Late former senior political advisor cremated

BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- The remains of Luo Haocai, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was cremated Saturday in Beijing.

Luo, a well-known jurist, educator and social activist, died of illness on Feb. 12 in Beijing. He was 83.
