ADDIS ABABA, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Friday.

-- Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn of Ethiopia on Thursday held talks with President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, at the National Palace in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa.

During the talks, the two discussed bilateral issues as well as agreed to cooperate in agriculture, tourism, trade and investment. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- Ethiopia and Equatorial Guinea have signed three cooperation agreements on various areas to further improve their relationship.

The agreements were signed in the areas of recruitment of workers, defense, and infrastructure development. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- The Oromo Peoples' Democratic Organization (OPDO) Central Committee elected Abiye Ahmed as chairman of the organization and Lema Megerssa as his deputy. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)
