KATHMANDU -- Nepal will be holding an election to choose the country's new president on March 13, the Election Commission (EC) said.

NEW DELHI -- At least 10 people were injured in a massive fire that broke out at a chemical factory in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad Friday, officials said.
"The blaze started at the factory in Jeedimetla Industrial Area this morning. While 10 workers sustained injuries and have been rushed to a nearby hospital after being rescued, four others are still said to be trapped inside the factory," a police official said. (India-Fire)

CANBERRA -- The world's largest lithium ion battery in South Australia (SA) has "taken the straw off the camel's back" and saved the state from a number of blackouts, a report has found.
