NEW YORK, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, fell 0.36 percent to 89.726 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT). Enditem
