Leaders of 3 Baltic nations to meet Trump

VILNIUS, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of three Baltic nations -- Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia -- will meet U.S. President Donald Trump on April 3, according to a statement released by Lithuanian President's Office on Thursday.
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis and Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid are to attend the U.S.-Baltic summit in Washington.
The presidents are to issues concerning the region and the trans-Atlantic community, as well as defense enforcement, energy security and strengthening business ties, according to the statement.
"The leaders of the countries will also discuss preparations for the upcoming NATO summit seeking further decisions to reform the Alliance's defense and strengthen its Eastern Flank," it said.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are NATO's Eastern-flank countries. Enditem
