Dollar changes hands in upper 107 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 107 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, practically unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.60-61 yen compared with 107.72-82 yen in New York and 107.77-79 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2280-2280 dollars and 132.14-15 yen against 1.2277-2287 dollars and 132.36-46 yen in New York and 1.2314-2315 dollars and 132.71-75 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
