TEHRAN -- Iran has located the wreckage of a passenger plane that crashed into western mountains on Sunday, official IRNA news agency reported Tuesday.
According to Morteza Salimi, the chief of Rescue and Welfare Organization, debris of the plane was spotted near Nogol area on the 4,000-meters heights of Dena Mountain. (Iran-Plane Crash)

DAMASCUS -- Pro-government Syrian forces started moving toward Kurdish-controlled Afrin enclave in northern Syria on Tuesday, the state TV reported.
The move came just a day after the Syrian government media outlets said the pro-government forces will enter Afrin to support the people in the face of the Turkish-led military operation, according to the state TV. (Syria-Afrin-Kurdish)

CAIRO -- Egypt decided to open the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip for four days starting from Wednesday, the Palestinian embassy in Cairo said in a statement Tuesday.

JERUSALEM -- A confidant of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is suspected of attempting to bribe a judge in return for closing a corruption case against Netanyahu's wife, the police said Tuesday.
