Ministry sends working team for E China road accident

BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) has sent a working team to the site of a road accident that killed 10 people in east China's Jiangxi Province Tuesday morning.

The MPS said in a statement that the team will guide the investigation and handling of the accident.

Ten people were killed after an overloaded passenger vehicle, a 19-seater carrying 32 people, skidded off the road in Ningdu County in Jiangxi.

The ministry also warned of traffic safety risks during the Spring Festival holiday, which include increased traffic around tourist attractions, rain and snow as well as overloading, unlicensed carrying of passengers and fatigued drivers. Enditem
