NEW DELHI -- India Tuesday testfired its medium-range, nuclear-capable Agni II missile from a military island off the coast of eastern state of Odisha, sources said.
"The home-made, surface-to-surface missile was testfired this morning from the Integrated Test Range in Odisha's Balasore district as part of Indian Army's training exercise," sources said. (India-Missile-Test)

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- Troops of India and Pakistan Tuesday exchanged heavy fire and targeted each other's positions on Line of Control (LoC) dividing Kashmir, officials said.
The two sides exchanged fire in Uri sector of frontier Baramulla district, about 117 km northwest of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir. (India-Pakistan-Exchange Fire)

JALALABAD, Afghanistan -- At least three people were killed and two others injured as a bomb blast rocked Jalalabad city, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday, spokesman for provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said.
According to Khogiani, an explosive device went off in Chauk Talashi locality at around noon, killing three persons and injuring two others, all civilians. (Afghanistan-Blast-Casualties)

SEOUL -- Schedule for the annual South Korea-U.S. war game, which was delayed during the period of the 23rd Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games, will be unveiled after the Paralympic Games ending in mid-March, South Korea's defense chief said Tuesday.
Defense Minister Song Young-moo told a parliamentary defense committee that U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis and he will announce the exact schedule for the joint military exercises sometime between March 18 and the end of March, as the Paralympic Games end on March 18.
